Dr. Jesus Robel T. Sastrillo, Jr. is a seasoned public servant who has faithfully served the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) for over 23 years, beginning his career on February 5, 2002. On February 20, 2025, he took his oath as Local Government Operations Officer VIII (LGOO VIII) – Provincial Director of DILG Cebu Province, following his appointment by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. Dr. Sastrillo is an alumnus of Foundation University Dumaguete City, where he completed his Bachelor of Laws (now Juris Doctor) in 2003, and earned both his Master’s and Doctorate in Public Administration in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He is also a government schoolar, and proud graduate of the Development Academy of the Philippines – Public Management Development Program (PMDP), Middle Managers Class Batch 22 – Class Uhay earning his Certificate, Diploma, and Master of Development Management (MDM). His strong foundation in governance, academic excellence, and steadfast commitment to public service continue to inspire and enhance the delivery of programs and services in Cebu Province.
